Jewish state

Also I just know when I am sitting around here in Old Jaffa Hostel I am presented for the same issues again and again. An American who have just joined the family here a couple a months ago with a big star tattooed on his chest and a Christian guy are fighting again and again over same issues also today and it often come out that this is a Jewish state and Christian should not come here and praise. Fair enough as I know Christan and Arabs have also always been living here, just to let you know if somebody have forgotten it. I am proud of been Danish in my home country and specially during the 2nd world war it was not about being Jewish or Christian, when the Danes put a Jewish star on the clothing to spare live, but because we are human being all created by GOD... Maybe it is different here

Jerusalem Post

My Ex-wife is a Journalist and use to work for Jerusalem Post and I now a few Editors from there and I am going to submit my story to them and I hope to get some help because I really needs it by now to be able to stay in Israel. I am also going to submit it to Haaretz and a Danish newspaper Politiken in Denmark. I am sure that the Danes would like to hear how it is to leve in Israel and realized what kind of rights Christian have here. Danish people have again been very nice to Jewish people in the past and right now with all the episode about a newspaper publish some cartoons in Jyllands Posten and then 3 Embassies are suddenly burnt down in 3 different countries all Arab Countries. so if you are Christian you are not really liked either by Jewish or Arab people, nice to realize after what Danes have been doing of nice things to both. I feel it is nearly like living in the USA and get to now the story behind Thanks giving, when the Americans first shared a nice dinner with the Indians and than killed them.

Life in Israel

I think that I have mentioned it before I did move from San Francisco nearly 2-years ago, with my son Raphael and at that time my wife Stephanie. We came here due to that she is Jewish and wanted to bring our son up here. I got a work permit 2 months later and started to work. I am Christian which means that here our marriage is not really recognized by the Rabbi es, whom are quite strong in Israel. Last June 06 I moved out (or was kick out) off our apartmen in Tel Aviv, by my wonderful ex- wife and suddenly my work situation since than have changed. Right now I can not get a work permit because I am Christian ( thank you for what Danish people as my grandfather did for Jewish people during and just after the 2nd world war in Denmark) and Danish even though that my son is here and is Jewish and I have never asked for any support from the Government. I have always been working and supporting myself. Right now my ex- is claiming NIS 4000,- per month in child support (neally USD 1000,-) and in payment for 1/2 her expenses for rent, which is around 3 times more as normal. The normal amount is NIS 1400,- per month. She is the one asking for a divorce (and she will get it but on my terms as well) I hired a lawyer and she has been laughing and telling me that she can claim USD 1 Million per month but it is not going to happen. I have always consider her as a cleave person, but slowly I started doubting. She is American, maybe the system is different but this is Israel. She contacted the Interior Ministry and made sure that I can not work legally in Israel and at the same time she is claiming 3 times of what is normal, of cause I am a fucking Christian ( which I heard before) that does not really understand that kind of logic. Of cause she is all the time doing what is best for her son, ( oh yet she has often been telling me that it is her son and not mine) properly again some kind of differences between been Jewish and Christian) So now I am here as a Visitor with no right to work. I have been telling the police men and women that a couple of weeks ago came to pick me up outside the Old Jaffa Hostel because I on the 26th June showed up at her front door with a court order that she could not take my son out of the country, when we are going though a divorce. ( she have a couple of time before leaving been telling me that she want to settle down with her parents)I need her to sign, which she of cause refused and called the police and oh yes I nearly forgot some e-mail I have been sending asking her if my son is here in the country or not and how he is doing, which is of cause didn't respond on, after all she is the Jewish mother and if you are Christian father you have no right here in Israel what so ever, even though you have a Jewish son, which is mine. I am SO ashamed of being Danish and to know that my Christian people in Denmark help a lot of Jewish people out of Denmark during 2nd World War, we should never have risked our life for people like that.

I went to a meeting on 20.05.2007 to file for and ID and a work permit and was sitting in front of a Jewish counselor, with all my papers in order due to have been in the same office maybe 3 -4 times over the last 6 -12 months. The women told me that the Interior Ministry was going to send my file to Jerusalem and in 2 months I would by mail recieve and answer. My, at that time Tourist Visa was on the 06.08.2007 expiring so I went to the office again to ask about my case, At the information desk they were not surprised at all that I had not heard from Jerusalem even 2 months had past, because my file had never been sent there but was still in Tel Aviv, So again a Christian got fucked in Israel, I told the office THAT I WAS SO ASHAMED OF BEING DANISH. And I am, I have even been thinking of converting but not really anymore.

The other ting that doesnt make sense to me is that this country does not really aprove my marriage and now I am just a visitor but our divorse is still taking place here and she is claiming NIS 4000,- (nearly USD 1000 per month) according to Jewish law. I do not have the permit to work but I can of cause just go home to Denmark, where I didnt live for more than 10 years.
Sometime I do not really know why I am here and why any one would support this system.

New bicycle

Today I got my 6th bicycle for NIS 150,- and a Goldstar beer, now I only need one more for taking the group of 6 through the Negev on the 12th. Sept.

I lived in Israel for more than 4-years, I studied here and I feel that this is my home due to I didn't live in Denmark for more than 10-years. Yesterday I went to the Interior Ministry to asked for an extension of my visa and to ask about my case of getting and ID here in Israel. The 20.05. 2007 I filed for getting my own ID and work permit due to my son lives here and due to I want to stay here in Israel. Now they told me that they have not sent my case to Jerusalem yet as promised on the last meeting, due to that my ex and I have to have a meeting first, like a mediation meeting first together before they can send my case to Jerusalem. I was very shocked here I have been waiting nearly 2-months for an answer after been told that they sent my case to Jerusalem and I will be notified my mail in 2 months. Here I was on the 06.08.2007 with a visa that was going to expire and expected to get an answer and they have not even been looking at my case. I can not work, my ex-wife made sure of that I still have to pay child support around 3 times more than normal. NIS 3500,- I am a proud father and know where I am coming from being a Dane, who have had a grand father and a father who were helping Jewish people to obtain a good life in Denmark during the 2 world war when they need help and helped to send them to Sweden when it was to difficult in Denmark. Our king Christian demanded that all Danes should wear a star on there clothing not only the Jewish people, to make sure that the Germans could not see who were Jewish and who were not. Basically to safe lives. To me it was vast of Danish lives, when I was standing here and begging to obtain my own life and to be able to support my sons. I suddenly felt disguested to be Danish.....

Today I bicycled out in the world of been independent again, a divorce. I talked to my lawyer and agreed about some claims against my ex-wife. She is the one who are filing for divorce a and is claiming NIS 3500,- per month in child support ( nearly USD 1000,-) which is nearly 3 times as much as normal, on top of that she made sure that I as a foreigner in Israel can not work. I use to for more than 1 1/2 years to have a work permit when I lived with my ex-wife but she informed the authorities about the change and made sure that I can not work. A very good combination and of cause in the best interest of my son, Raphael. My lawyer told me today that it is impossible to tell a women what would be best for our son and she also explained that here in Israel women look at men before they marry, off how they would act if they have to go through a divorce. Says a lot about women here in this country maybe it is the same in the USA. I am sure that my ex though I was pretty weak before I hired a lawyer. Now she suddenly realized something else, which make here scared. So scared that yesterday when a good friend of mine call my ex- wife's parents in the USA, due to she spends 2 /1/2 months there and wanted to talked to my son, she freaked out and asked my friend what attorney office he was calling from and for his last name. He could not explain even though that he tried that he was just a friend. He is American and he told me that he never have talked to a more insane women in his life and he never tried anything like that before not even with his ex-wife. Afterwards we had a good laugh about it.

honesty in Israel

Israel have over the years I have come here changed a lot from the spirit of Kibbutzim to a system of today where people are on their own. People are more fighting for a proper job and salaries, nice place to live, nice car and other luxurious things to buy than before.

I just rented a bicycle out and a few days ago a felt that something was wrong, she came home without the bicycle and told me that she was sick and left the bicycle at a music school here in Jaffa. Two days later on a Thursday she told me in the morning that she had bad new that the bicycle had been stolen even though it was protected by guards. She told me she was very sorry. Today she just paid NIS 300 which would cover for the bicycle.
My point with this is that I would never leave a rented bicycle behind especially in Tel Aviv or Jaffa for the night and to come up with statements like there were guards is just a false protection due to they would not stay there the whole night.
