Bicycle tour in Ha Ela Valley 27.05.2006

We will meet at the amassing Bet Guvrin caveshttp://www.jafi.org.il/education/noar/sites/bguvrin @ 10:00 Saturday 27.05.2006 and let Yehuda Tellem,(local guide) guide us through the caves. (1 1/2 - 2 hours).

Getting together at the parking lot and drive up to the Ha Ela Junction (approx. 10-15 km) and park at the parking lot on the side of the gas station. Here we will bicycle in the beautiful area, looking out to some of the Valley (4,5 km) to the Tzuk cheese & wine restaurant, with different stops for viewing the area and drinking water. The ride would be on a pretty straight surface and level: easy - medium.

Relaxing tasting the wine and goat cheese in the amassing surroundings, with a menu of:
1. 10 different salads
2. Goat cheese
3. Wine
4. Bread

Bicycling back to some of the Valley, back to the parking lot (1,5 km)

Adult 150,00 per person
Children 0 - 9 years old: 50,00 per child
Rent bicycle:
Mountain bike for men, women 50 - 60 per person w/without helmet
Prices are base on a group of 20 persons
Driving directions: take highway 38 south from Bet Shemesh, this leads to highway 35. To enter the archeological side of the National Park, turn right towards Kibbutz Bet Guvrin; almost immediately, there is a left turn into the Park. About 100 meters south of the turn to the kibbutz, there is a left turn, which is the entrance to the main part of the Park, the caves.
