bicycle tour to around Tel Lahrish

Wine Country bicycle touring May 06
I am going to guide a bicycle tour in Tel Lahrish (approx. 60km from TLV) close to Kiryat Gat south of TLV and East of Ashkelon and West of Hebron. Tel Lahrish has historically been, together with Jerusalam an important place and town for trade routes (spices) from the Meditterian sea to Petra in Jordan.

The area is also know for the best grapes in the country and for amassing caves (Bet Guvrin), which we are going to see, due to it is a most. I drove to Tel Lahrish (1991-1992) from Denmark and spend the winter (3 months) in Tel Lahrish and have been visiting the caves quite a few times.
